Rabbit Light Hyacinth

Hyacinth was my surprise kid this season. Though I had bred her mother, she never really looked pregnant. In a barn where triplets are the norm, her mother was carrying only her and relative to the other does, didn't seem pregnant.

 

One night after a long and difficult triplet birth with another goat, I returned to the barn to find Hyacinth, perky and walking around with her mother. She has been a strong singlet ever since.

 

She is the daughter of Rabbit Light Taffy, a beautiful moon spotted doe, and Rabbit Light Achilles,
