Emily was named by me as my daughter's choice was from a friend's father's suggestion. Up until then I had let my daughter name all the goats, but I wasn't fond of the name Quartz, so I christened her Emily. This did not please my daughter, so I made a compromise, Emily Quartz. 

 

She is the daughter of Jesta Farms Venture Pearl, the best of my milkers, and Rabbit Light Pumpkin, a beautiful moon spotted buck, we nicknamed "Mr. Hollywood," a son of Lynnhaven KB Crown Point Light. She is sister and close companion of Angora.
